Rita Mkalama Safari is married to Anthony Safari Gona,and they have been blessed with two lovely daughters,Maria now 10yrs old and  Stephanie who is now 8yrs old in 2010.

Rita joined CLC In 1994,she has been a member of Rehema Nairobi since then.CLC Rehema is a second home to her and her family.She has taken the Spiritual Exercises under the able guidance of Catherine Waiyaki.She also did the eight Day Retreat in Daily Life  in April 2009.Rita believes that by working in the CLC-Development Desk,she will be able to give back to the society some of what the Almighty God has so graciously given to her.

Rita's  greatest joy is  to  able to make a difference in the life of her god-daughter Lucy,Who is a student in St.Aloysius Gonzaga.Finally Rita prays that she can be able to journey with Lucy,as she also journeys with her daughters in their Spiritual Life.
